  We booked Academy for a charity ball where the crowd like to party. They were extremely polite and happy to discuss the set list and make some changes. The result was fantastic. A packed dance floor crying out for 'one more song' at the end. I'd definitely book through Alive Network again and I would request Academy again. Great stuff guys!

  First impressions were that Academy were very professional and friendly. Our first dance went perfectly and from that point on the dance floor was packed whenever they were playing. Which is a good thing as the band were solely my responsibility, so if they had not gone down well it would have been on my head! Thankfully they played a good mix of old and new and sounded great. This coupled with their friendliness and interaction with the crowd made for a great night. Having taken the responsibility of finding and organising the band on my own shoulders it was most pleasing to hear the comments of other guests who were also very complimentary. A great night was had by all, so thank you again. I will be recommending this site in future to any friends I know of needing a band for weddings/parties.

  We both loved Academy. They sung a version of one of our favourite songs with our bridesmaid, which will remain one of our happiest memories of the day. They had a wide and varied set list so we were able to pick songs that appealed to many of our guests. They were all very friendly, professional and punctual and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to other happy couples.

  Academy were very professional, had good communication with the crowd, and tolerant on many occasions - one time some water leaked on the stage, another time a couple of guests went up the stairs that was on the stage past the band, and our niece and nephew were mucking about with their microphone a bit during the break which they all took in their stride. The music itself was brilliant, and so many people commented on how good the band were. We were very happy!
